Design Team Bio Questions

1. Tell us about yourself. What would you like everyone to know about you?
Read my profile.

2. What is your scrapbook style?
I would probably say shabby chic with a little bit of eclectic thrown in. Although, I'm not
stuck in one style, it just kind of depends on the pictures, event, and the message I want to
relay with the layout.

3. How long have you been scrapbooking?
I took a Scrapbooking 101 class at Treasured Memories in July of 2005 and have been doing
it every since.

4. Who do you scrapbook?
Mostly my family and kids. I crop our vacations, holidays, and any special events.

5. Name your top 3 tools.
Stamps
Cricut
Heat gun (for heat embossing)

6. How are you inspired to get started on a layout?
I'm still waiting to get inspired!!!

7. Do you have any great tips to share?
Be careful of your thoughts, they may become words at any minute.

8. What is your favorite 3 embellishments?
Chip board
Flowers
Bling

9. What is your favorite paper line?
Don't have just one. My top 3 are Basic Grey, BoBunny, and Cosmo Cricket.

10. What is your favorite way to journal?
R u joking?!? I don't have a favorite way. I do not like journaling as you can tell in most of my layouts. I almost always leave a spot for it, but it's usually blank. Ma Bad.

GET TO KNOW ME

This is my first layout on the design team. For me, this was a very difficult layout to do. Well, not so much difficult as it was weird. Weird in the sense that I never do layouts of just me. Most of my layouts are of the kids, vacations, events or holidays.
Most of my layouts are very busy. I like to use a lot of colors, pictures, techniques, etc....I also like to use a lot of embellishments! Bling, ribbon, flowers, chipboard, flourishes....I love it all.
I used the Basic Grey Bittersweet and BoBunny papers along with chipboard that I heat embossed and just added a lot of embellishments. I stamped the brown paper with flourishes and then stickled it. In each of the squares I put a noun of something that I am and then elaborated a little bit about each. In one square I stamped descriptive words about me that I got from my friends and family when I asked them to describe me. On top of the words I put my name Liz (meaning: these words are what make up me---Liz) Oh and lastly, one of the pictures I cut into 4 equal squares and pop dotted 2 of the squares for a little change and dimension.

Monster Jam

This is a layout I did after we attended our first Monster Jam. I know it's coming up again real soon so maybe it'll be useful. My new 'bff' Brandy insisted I post this layout. I know it's very busy but it seems to work for me. By using 2x3 size pictures I was able to get a lot of pictures on one layout and the papers I used (Cosmo Cricket Get Happy line) are great for any boy layout. And yes, I still need to journal....but atleast I left a spot for it. LOL
